Before you issue one

  • Ask the requester for its wording: many embassies and authorities have their own requirements.
  • State the purpose precisely — the country and dates, or the transaction — not a blanket statement.
  • Print it on company letterhead and have the authorised signatory sign and stamp it.

Frequently Asked Questions

A No Objection Certificate is a letter in which the employer confirms the person works for the company and states that it has no objection to something specific — for example travelling abroad on a visit visa. It is printed on company letterhead, signed by an authorised signatory and stamped.

No single official format exists. The embassy, bank or authority that asks for the NOC decides what it needs, and some supply their own wording, so ask the requester first and match it.

The company's name and licence details, the employee's name, nationality and passport number, the job title and joining date, exactly what the company has no objection to, the date, and the authorised signatory's name, title, signature and stamp. Some requesters also want the salary, which this generator can add.

Someone authorised to sign for the company — usually the owner, a manager or HR — on company letterhead with the company stamp.
